AOFMPro were backstage at the Tosia SS16 collection.
This is the first time AOFMPro have worked with this designer because Tosia NYC is a relatively new label but you wouldn’t think that looking at the level of maturity in the designs. Sara Hankin, Tosia NYC’s creative director, is no stranger to the fashion world having worked for J.Crew, Cynthia Steffe, and Ralph Lauren in the past. The SS16 collection was inspired by a personal trip the designer took to Morocco. There were lots of clean, classic cuts, using modern materials such as denim and suede but always staying faithful to her usual elegant premise.
The show was outdoors and targeted towards people taking a summer holiday so the AOFMPro team picked a light, very natural and glowy look with an accent on coral-toned lip gloss. The look was very dewy and effortless and the skin was very illuminated. The team used a very lightweight sheer foundation which gave a shine to the skin. The team also used a little bit of shine stick to add a shiny glow to the look and the lip had just a pop of coral on it to give a small amount of colour.
