New York’s NOLCHA Fashion Week has just wrapped its Spring/Summer 2015 season. Over the next 2 days NOLCHA would feature 16 new emerging designers! Offering over 25 of our AOFM NYC graduates the opportunity to assist backstage. The team was lead by Michelle Webb for AOFM Pro for 3 unique shows displaying some of New York most influential up and coming designers.
For the first show the makeup look was angelic and innocent! To start off we used DERMALOGICA Skincare to prepare the skin – cleansing, toning and moisturizing to create the perfect base for the makeup. The skin was dewy using the Bobbi Brown BBU Foundation palette. The cheekbones were highlighted to reflect the runway lights using MAC Mineralize in Soft & Gentile. The eyes were the focus of the look. Casading gold glitter surrounded the outer eye creating a very dreamy effect. Mascara was on the eyelashes for definition. The lips was blurred out for the edges using foundation shade similar to their skin tone. Just before the model hit the runway a berry pink was blotted on the inner edges of the lip. The makeup and clothes all came together as the models walked down the runway!
AOFM is always grateful for the privilege of being the exclusive backstage pro-makeup team. It is undeniably a memorable, gratifying, and fun experience for AOFM grads to be doing makeup backstage during New York Fashion Week
