NOLCHA Fashion Week is a leading award-winning event for independent fashion designers to showcase their collections to a global audience of press, retailers, stylist and industry influencers. For the second show the seats were filled with trend setting celebs that were looking to be inspired by refreshing talent and to support independent fashion designers.
AOFM had to quickly remove the gold glitter from the models from the first show. With the tips from the AOFM Pro team had it was off in seconds! The second look that Michelle created was a more evening smokey eye. The models skin was refreshed using the Bobbi Brown BBU palette to create that flawless complexion. The eyes were the focus of the look. Using a soft brown kohl eye pencil we blended the liner right along the lash line on the top and bottom. Then using a soft brush we blended and smoked it out. On the lid we swept a champagne gold eyeshadow through to the crease. Mascara was added on both the top and bottom eyelashes. To give an uplifting effect we then combed the brows up using a clear brow gel. The lips were muted out using a concealer close to their natural skin tone.
AOFM is always grateful for the privilege of being the exclusive backstage pro-makeup team. It is undeniably a memorable, gratifying, and fun experience for AOFM grads to be doing makeup backstage during New York Fashion Week
