AOFMPro graduates were delighted to be invited backstage at New York Fashion Week to work for the first time with New York-based designer Jay Godfrey on his SS16 white hot collection. The completely white collection showcased silks, linens and flexible tweeds in a variety of shades of cream, porcelain and alabaster. All the models chosen for the collection were of colour which highlighted the sensuality of the collection beautifully. Jay Godfrey had produced a collection which represents exactly what his brand is “sexy, clean and modern”. The makeup our graduates had to do for the collection was to create a wet look skin using a mix of serum, Lucas pawpaw and tinted moisturiser. The cheeks were a pinky/peach cream blush and the lips bright orange which was done by tapping the colour onto the lip using the finger. For the eyes a disconnected liner a flick on the top and line under the waterline using a black gel liner. No mascara and brows were brushed up using Lucas pawpaw. Our grads did such an amazing job on all the models which showed off the “White Hot Collection” beautifully.
