To create the makeup for the show: To start, the skin was cleansed, toned and moisturised using Dermalogica products to give us a great base to work on.
To create a slightly dewy fresh looking skin I first used a liquid highlighter on the cheekbones and forehead, followed by MakeUp Forever foundation. The eyebrows were simply brushed upwards and kept natural looking. The designer wanted a modern toned down 60’s look on the eyes. To achieve this I blended a Mac paint pot across the lid that matched their skin tone. Followed by Mac ‘Quarry’ Eyeshadow across the eyelid, along with a black gel eyeliner on the lash line and a white eyeliner in the waterline. To finish the eye I applied black eyeshadow underneath the eye to define the look. The lashes were curled first to emphasise the length and then black mascara applied to the top and bottom lashes. For lips and cheeks I used pastel colours to give a young fresh look, using Mac products in peach for the cheek and a pink nude for the lips. I used Mac Mineralise Lightscapade on the cheekbones, down the nose and on the cupids bow to give a lovely glow to the face.As the models lined up we made sure they were powdered where necessary before the show started.
