Grinko SS16 @ Milan Fashion Week

AOFMPro graduates last show for the Milan SS16 season was the Sergai Grinko show who we have worked with for the last few Milan Fashion Week seasons, his shows are always very energetic and exciting so we were all really looking forward to the show. The venue was once again the very beautiful Museo Del Novocentre in the Piazza del Duomo. This season’s collection titled “Non Conformist” was inspired by George Sand the mother of all nonconformist people. The basic shape of the collection was the circle as an egg/sun and every dress was reminded of those shapes. There was a revisitation of some Pierre Cardin inspiring models from the early 70′s mashed up with 90′s techno and minimal expressions. Fabrics used, transparent crepe de chine to light exclusive brocades. Colours were yellow, grey, black and green. The 90′s Nirvana girl was the inspiration behind the Grinko Spring Summer 16 makeup, super dewy skin, bronzed contour and excessively highlighted skin, baby nude semi gloss lips and layer upon layer of black mascara was added to the lashes. It all came together beautifully in what was once again a very exciting show for our very talented graduates to be a part of.
