Mathew Miller’s self confessed design philosophy has always been one of balancing simple manufacturing values with an artists approach to his craft. So it’s of no surprise that the SS17 “Tempest” collection draws colour inspiration from Millers inherent love of art and culture which includes “the study of clouds” by the British painter John Constable successfully parred with reworked styling ideas brought thoughtfully from the ill-fated skinhead culture of the 80’s.
We delight in the iconic bleached denim of skinheads, oversized cardigans with “clouds” of blues, an array of whites in natural fabrics of denim, cotton & linen, paired with deliberately mismatched checkerboard pattern throughout the collection.
Grooming by AOFM encapsulated the dewy fresh of todays youth . The clean, fresh, youthful skin was achieved by using Dermalogica’s Moisture Booster drops after Ultra Calming Cleanser sweeped had been over the face followed by a mist of Multi-active toner to prep the skin properly. Skin Smoothing Cream moisturiser was the perfect choice for that plumped skin finish.
To finish the grooming pin-point concealing only if needed and if any colour correction was needed the Catrice Allround Concealer palette freshened especially around the undereye area.
