AOFM sent a team of makeup course graduates down to bath to work on the prestigious Bath in fashion.
This was a week-long program celebrating the extraordinary creative energy in the British fashion industry whilst taking a nostalgic look back to fashion by BIBA as it reaches its 50th birthday. An exciting and eclectic program showcases Summer ’14 fashions on the catwalk, brings fashion celebrities and authors to share their style and Stimulate debate, and stages workshops, style council, exhibitions and installations.
AOFM this year was proud to design the makeup looks for the Vintage BIBA show, the Spring Summer 14 high street shows, host an AOFM Masterclass and create the looks for the Designer fashion shows as part of the Bath in Fashion Event. The makeup was kept fresh and modern and was not to reference the classic Biba look of the 60/70’s era. We used dermalogica to prep the skin. The skin was kept sheer to give it a ‘real’ skin look. The eye makeup was kept in trend with SS14 in a combination of mauve and lilacs colours with a white pencil in the waterline. Slight shading was applied and blended in with pinkish and mauve colours to compliment the eyes. The look was finished with a nude lip to keep things looking expensive yet approachable. Our Makeup Graduates did a fantastic job on the show. Take a look at some of the behind the scenes pictures.
