This morning our grads travelled from all over London to Swiss Church, a big, white, hollow show space in a former church located in Covent Garden, becoming popular with more edgy/upcoming designers over the last couple of years, it’s a space that our graduate teams frequent often during the show season. Today is was WoodWood occupying the space, WoodWood originates from Copenhagen in the Netherlands, they mix high fashion, sports and streetwear with youth culture, art and music creating the best possible product balanced between style and function.
Todays show had A LOT of models, and as is increasingly common with fashion week, it disregarded that it was men’s week and had a mix of both male and female models. The grads were prepped for this and excited to get started on the looks of the day, once briefed by the key artist, they set about making each of the models look fresh and youthful.
Luckily for the grads, they had a leisurely 4 hours to do all of the looks, which made for a nice, calm atmosphere backstage before the presentation went live.
Models prepped, dressed and rehearsed, it was show time and time for our grads to head off to their next show!Back to Student Work
