The AOFM Graduates joined Sudanese designer Omer Asim again this season at the Elms Leicester Painting Rooms in the heart of Central London.
Omer Asim’s presentation, ‘Reversed Sensory,’ at the Elms Lesters Painting Rooms was anything but a sensory deprivation for those in attendance. It did take us back to basics though and to Asim’s architectural training.
To match the modern, architectural nature of the collection as well as not to detract from the copper metal accessories, some of which were placed in the mouths of the models, Asim requested that the team make the models look as if they were wearing no makeup. This was achieved through skincare and light colour correction, other than that, the point of the collection was to let the clothes do the work.
This show was done at the same time as another presentation, Im sure you can imagine how busy this made the team, both looks were immaculate, great job grads!
