Landeros is a New York brand headed up by designer Andre Landeros, unusually Landeros is a brand almost gender free, this is shown not only through their model choice but also by the androgynous nature of their clothing. The models cast within the show were a mix of men, women & gender neutral people, this was also a key part in key artist and AOFM teacher Konstanze Zeller’s makeup design. A beautiful glowing skin free of blush or contour teamed up with a metallic eye matched to the models skin tone.
Konstanze requested the AOFM graduates to join her backstage in prepping the 18 models so we sent along a couple of our recent grads. They arrived late in the afternoon coming straight from a show on the other side of the island & had no time for rest bite. The show took place in the National Scandinavian House on Park Avenue, Manhattan. A beautiful, light multifunctional space that was the perfect backdrop for the collection and of course the makeup!
The grads had plenty of time on each model and the relaxed backstage atmosphere was a great setting for the models to prepare themselves for the presentation.
Once ready it was time for the presentation to begin, the graduates were on hand for any touch ups throughout. Well done grads!
