id afternoon ready to set up for the stunning AW17 dondup presentation.
DONDUP a brand founded in 1999 by the artistic collaboration of Massimo Berloni and Manuela Mariotti has always been ahead of the game and this season it was no exception.Dondup’s creative director Manuela Mariotti blended minimalism from the Sixties with volumes from the Eighties, keeping the collection feminine yet strong with a wild androgynous streak. Mariotti showed a confident hand with her outerwear designs. Among the standouts, a trenchcoat with a Loden structure and military style boots.The brief for the makeup was minimal fresh and strong, not wanting the girls to look too feminine the focus was on skin care keeping the skin fresh faced and minimal withSome of the models having walked in many shows needed a bit skin TLC to calm the redness and irritation.Having the Dermalogica range backstage really helped and we made use hero products like ultra calming calming cleanser and mist, redness relief primer and the serum drops mixed into active moist to really balance the skin out.Pinpoint concealing was then added and a brushes up brow finished the look.Once the graduate team had executed the makeup to perfection… time for the models to dress and some last min touch ups from the team and it was time for the presentation to began.The room filled with party goers and fashionista alike.Another success for the AOFM graduate team.
