Fabio began his career as a salon hairdresser in Italy. Working for Toni and Guy following relocating to London, he now works as a freelance hair stylist. Fabio constantly works with some of the biggest names in fashion, including photographers such as Mario Testino. He has also worked on a variety of big shows and magazines in London, Paris and Milan. His work is bold and highly structured, using hair pieces, wigs and the most unbelievable objects in his creations. Barbara has been working in the fashion industry for 15 years and is represented by the prestigious hair and makeup agency, Terrie Tanaka in London. Her artistic and alternative approach to makeup has made her a recognized name in the beauty industry, combining a strong, graphic, highly contemporary style with a perfect mastery of colours and textures. Attention to detail and expression of creativity is key to her high-standard makeup artistry. Students will be thrilled to learn from her vast experience and creative, artistic style, especially in the field of Beauty and Macro-Beauty.

She has worked internationally (London/Paris/NY/Hamburg) for international fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, Tatler, Glamour, GQ and many more, working in collaboration with leading beauty brands such as Dior, Lancome, YSL, Chanel, Clarins, Clinique, Stila and British and German Vogue as well as creating the look of advertising campaigns for Hugo Boss (perfume), Coty (perfume), L'Oreal (make up), Nivea Beauté (make up), Diego Dalla Palma (make up) Oriflame (make up & skin care), Montblanc (jewellery) and the new make up line of Thierry Mugler, amongst many others.

From 2004 to 2008 Barbara was contributing to beauty magazine 'Tush' and worked for lifestyle magazine 'Clam' (Paris) as Contributing Beauty Editor, doing her own productions of beauty editorials. From April 2007 to April 2009 she was Creative Director/ Consulting Make Up Artist of Oriflame – Natural Swedish Cosmetics, being responsible for product development of Limited Seasonal Collections, Colour – and Trend consultant and spokesperson on promotional events focusing on Russia, Thailand and India.

Maria first studied Mathematics and Fine Arts. After completing her University studies she started working as a Fashion Editor for various magazines in Athens, Greece. She fell into the world of beauty by total chance, when the magazine she was editing fashion for asked her to take charge of its beauty section. She edited numerous beauty editorials with the unique approach for juxtaposing a page of a still-life next to a makeup look. She was also responsible for styling a plethora of beauty products and creating compelling images with them. Full of ideas and product knowledge she decided to come to London in the summer of 2006 and took up a makeup course. Her makeup artistry enabled her to execute makeup ideas for both her fashion and beauty editorials. Once she felt her creative cycle in Greece had completed, she moved to London in 2009 in search of new artistic challenges. She works as a freelance makeup artist and carries on being a Beauty Editor for an independent magazine. Her makeup is inspired by anything and everything and it is never accidental. The images she creates aspire to always create reaction and spark emotion.

Amanda grew up in London in a very creative household of designers and illustrators and became interested in makeup at a very early age. By the age of eleven she knew that she would one day become a makeup artist. She studied graphic and interior design and photography, followed by film, tv and stage makeup and hair but quickly realised that it was beauty and fashion makeup which were her true passion.

Amanda is a real perfectionist with her own highly-polished style. Her sophisticated yet unreserved use of colour and texture makes her a favourite among high-end advertising clients and magazines alike.

Cristina had a passion for the arts from a very early age. She started in Majorca, where she was working as creative manager of a dance team, organizing the choreographies, music, lighting, design of clothes and styling. Looking to expand her ambitions and knowledge, she moved to Madrid where she studied make up and styling professionally in Spain’s most prestigious college Harpo and Goymar. This gave her the experience to be more involved in the fashion industry.Her clients include Marks and Spencer and fashion names like Versace and Jean- Paul Gautier among her credits.

Cristina is highly skilled in the art of body-painting, airbrushing and fantasy make up where she truly expresses her creativity. Her use of strong and vibrant colours is her industry trademark signature. She is also trained in nails and hairstyling, making her an all-round sought after freelance artist.

Originally from New Zealand, Jana started his career in hairdressing at a young age before moving to Australia to become an accomplished full time model gaining global contracts, appearing in many mainstream publications and shows. To progress his career in the industry further, he moved to London and decided to work on the other side of the camera as a hair and make-up artist, building his experience in European fashion industry as a freelance hair and make-up artist.

During this time, Jana has worked and continues to work with a number of big named celebrities, international designers and high-profile magazines. As a result, Jana is now an accomplished hair, make-up  professional, working with experienced and creative specialists within the field. He has an experimental, refreshing approach, driven by new and exciting projects. He is also the Head of Education at the Academy of Freelance Make Up.

He is dedicated to serving its students and making sure they get nothing but the best training to ensure their future success. Jana is always on the look out for students to take under his wing, offering them work placements and assisting jobs during and after completing their makeup courses.

Her personal client base ranges from royal families to worldwide personalities,production companies, underwater photographers & studios and various designers showing all over the globe. If you are looking to get in to creative makeup, Michelle is one of the best makeup artist to learn from, being one of the most sought after creative artists in the industry.

She has worked on various celebrities and music videos. Originally from Sweden, Lina started out working as a cartoonist and illustrator after graduating art school. A move to Cairo, Egypt and a job for the largest fashion magazine in the country introduced Lina to the world of fashion and celebrities. She decided to put the drawing career on hold and concentrate on make-up and was soon in high demand by the countries leading producers, singers, actors and magazines. To further her career she decided to move to London where she joined her first agency. Lina is now an internationally recognized make-up artist with over a decade in the industry. Her experience covers most areas but celebrities, music and advertising is her main focus. Education:  Jan was a key member of the Toni & Guy Creative Team, he can be seen cutting and styling in more than 10 collections whilst at Tony & Guy.  Jan taught every course from beginner to advanced men’s and was an inspiration in helping to develop the whole curriculum.
Session:  Jan started working as a assistant to Guido Palau working for names such as Gucci, Prada, Calvin Klein, Jill Sander, Alexander McQueen, Versace he has moved on to head his own shows for Basso and Brooke, Danielle Scutt, Avsh Alom Gur and Fashion Fringe.  He has had work published in magazine, Tush, Glamour, Sunday Times and Tank.

Angela is renowned for her natural make-up style with unmade-up, amazing glowing skin and creative but always beautiful looks. She is in demand for beauty and fashion editorial as well as advertising and is often asked by top beauty editors for tips and quotes. Specializing in using organic products Angela works closely with The Organic Pharmacy and has shot many campaigns for their make-up range Organic Glam. She is also a regular at London Fashion Week.

Philippe Miletto started his career in Belgium with photographer Serge Leblon with whom he produced his very first publications. He then moved to Paris where he worked three years as Head Make-up Artist for ShuUemura. He is now based in London working with a number of high fashion magazines and as the beauty editor for ID and Zoo magazines. Not only does he work with magazines but also represents Chanel cosmetics shooting their advertising campaigns in Paris.

His style of make-up is what we in the industry call conceptual and avant-garde. He has vast amounts of experience in the industry and has worked with some of the biggest names in fashion and make-up such as François Nars and KevynAucoin. Any student lucky enough to train with Philippe will have the advantage of learning his secrets and how to create truly creative and conceptual make-up.

Chrys has been working as a hair stylist for the last 20 years. He started working in various hair salons, later moving over to fashion, advertising, music and theatre. His style can be described as feminine, avant-garde and exaggerated classic forms. His main inspiration is old Hollywood styles which he then likes to give a modern twist. Ancient Greece, African tribal, Native American and Asian cultures also play a big part in Chrysostomos' motivation.

Ben Gregory is a freelance session stylist who has vast catwalk experience. He works regularly in London, Paris and Milan on the biggest and most influential fashion shows on the fashion calendar including Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Missoni, Vivienne Westwood and Costume National. Ben has a reputation for his avant-garde design and has even had some of his "hairdresses" exhibited in Museum Kortrijk1302 in Belgium. Carolyn is an award winning body painting artist and a double World Body Painting Champion, winning the title in 2007 and 2009. Her unque style and attention to detail has firmly established her as one of the UK's leading body painters. Examples of her expertise feature in television advertisments, music videos, magazines and newspapers as well as being used for CD covers and book covers. Her client list includes BBC, SKY TV, Panasonic, The National Lottery, Unilever, Royal Parks Foundation, Del Monte, and the Rugby Football League.

Carolyn also regularly works with Storm Thorgerson who is the artistic genius behind many iconic album covers including Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and many more recently Muse and Biffy Clyro. Her artwork is featured on Biffy Clyro'stop selling album "Puzzle" and the subsiquent singles "Folding Stars" and "Machines".

Carolyn is based in London but works internationally as an artist, judge and also as an instructor for both make-up and body paint.

Jade has never been one to follow the norm, knowing from a young age that she would never hold a typical "blue collar" job. Originally from Canada, she studied at a prestigious makeup college in Vancouver, BC. Shortly after completing the course, Jade kick started her career with the opportunity to assist a well-known makeup artist; she got to work backstage on fashion shows and on film sets within the city. After deciding to relocate back to her hometown, Jade started teaching others the art of makeup at a college whilst still being able to take up freelance jobs on the side.
Now Jade feels fortunate that her work has brought her all the way to one of the major fashion capitals of the world; London. She works as the Assistant Head Of Education at the Academy plus managing to fit in various freelance jobs on the side including London Fashion Week.

Konstanze was born in Salzburg, Austria where she first started to work as a hairstylist. In 1992 she moved to Berlin and found her true calling as a makeup artist.

As an assistant, she learned all the secrets of makeup and discovered a love of painting on human bodies. After working as a makeup artist throughout Europe, she moved to New York.

Since then, she has worked for years closely with Kevyn Aucoin, François Nars, Stephane Marais, and Linda Cantello. Taking advantage of all that experience, Konstanze is happy to call New York home and loves all the new opportunities it has given her.

  Julie Tomlinson moved to New York in 2002 and began assisting top makeup artists like Pat McGrath and Dick Page, working fashion week in New York and Paris.

Learning from the best, Julie has established herself as a makeup artist par excellence, with a reputation among clients, peers and employers for professionalism and an incomparable eye for detail. Born and raised in Northern California, Julie is often described as "down to earth" and her unpretentious approach belies a masterful artistry and perfectionism in her craft.

She was first drawn to the beautiful and vibrant colors of her mom's cases of eye shadow at an early age and it wasn't long before she was experimenting with makeup whenever she could.

 She has a versatile approach to makeup and has a naturally clean aesthetic when it comes to her application.

  Mykel Renner knew from an early age he was destined for a career in beauty and fashion.

After a 10 year stint working in Southern California, he then moved on to the ultimate creative mecca: New York.

 The worlds of fashion, advertising and music opened up to him globally, and in the past 12 years he’s worked with creative forces like Steven Meisel, Annie Leibovitz and Steven Klein.



 
 
Name: Chi Chi Saito

  Chi Chi is a make-up artist from outside of Tokyo, Japan. Chichi has a strong passion towards illustration, art, Japanese cartoon, and fashion.

She has lived and worked in several different countries including Toronto, San Francisco, New York and Sydney from when she was 18.

This gave her a chance to experience and learn about different aesthetics in different cultures around the world. After studying illustration and make up in New York, she began working for Patricia Field.

Aside from her profession as an established make-up artist, she also collaborates on art projects with designers, artists, musicians and film directors. Chi Chi now resides in New York but also works globally in cities such as Paris and Milan.


 
 
Name: Lazarus

  Known as “The Makeup Man”, Lazarus Jean-Baptiste is a star of the makeup world, sought after for his range of styles with all ethnicities and his charming interpersonal skills.

In March 1994 Lazarus set out to forge a niche for himself among New York City's makeup professionals.

 It wasn't long before his hand caught the eye of makeup manufacturer, Philippe Privé. Lazarus went on to collaborate with Privé as the co-designer of the Philippe Privé cosmetic line.

The avant-garde makeup collection launched at Saks Fifth Avenue - NYC in September '99 and opened at Takashimaya the following year.

 In 2005 Lazarus was personally selected by fashion icon Iman to be a contributor to her top selling book “The Beauty of Color. The Ultimate Beauty Guide For Skin of Color”.

 On March 1, 2011 Lazarus was featured as an on camera commentator for The Sundance Channel’s Original documentary on the cosmetic industry called “Love Lust & Makeup”.

He and Bobbi Brown were the only two working makeup artists featured. The Makeup Man is a product consultant.

Lazarus has worked closely with Defile, a cosmetic brand that was sold at Henry Bendel NYC; and Le Métier de Beauté, a posh cosmetic line sold exclusively at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.

 Lazarus is also a contributor to 'O' Magazine, has been a guest beauty editor for Jewel and can be found designing the faces of models, singers, actresses and private clients.

  Originally, Katie sought a career in acting, studying theatre in college and receiving a BFA in Theatre Performance.

However, she quickly discovered a flair for makeup behind the scenes. Shortly after college, a friend introduced her to the world of fashion, and from that point on she was hooked.

After moving to New York, Katie began assisting some of the top makeup artists in the industry, including Dick Page and Brigitte Reiss-Andersen, helping her to hone her craft and launching her into her own career.

She now works in a variety of mediums including fashion, film, theatre, and television, and has been fortunate enough to work with some of the top designers backstage during New York Fashion Week.

Her makeup is best described as beautiful with a modern edge, and clients appreciate her speedy application amiable, friendly demeanor that she brings to set. Katie is currently based in New York City.
